very tasty with rigatoni chicken olives basil and ratatouille
great vino with some great bbq - chicken wings and jerk flank steak - Mark Haas brought the very tasty Roche 2001 Merlot, Kenny Naughton knows i like light burgundy and brought the 1999 Louis Jadot Marsannay (like strawberries) - I found the 2004 Vino Tabi Meritage at New Leaf for only $23 - a good time was had by all.
Yesterday I cooked up some BBQ for friends here in El Granada, Jessicca Wabbit and Kenny Naughton brought a great bottle of Marziano Abbona Terlo Ravera 1999 Barolo (took a couple of hours to open up but was awesome later), Mark Haas brought a Joseph Swan 2003 Russian River Zinfandel (was big and juicy with 16.6% Alc.) and Tom Ingalls and his new friend Jaune brought a Campion 2005 Pinot Noir (was very nice and was a good match for both the Pork Loin and the Wild Salmon from Oregon.) A good time was had by all.
